Yes people are allowed, but I’m also allowed to criticize them on their unnecessary comments.
There too much negativity in the world as it is, and people needs to chill with it.
Because criticism is only good when the artist and the author CAN SEE them, they won’t see that criticism here.
Otherwise it’s just annoying and again unnecessary to post, people need to relearn that not every opinion and thoughts of their needs to aired publicly.
Just stating my opinion here (and if you happen to dislike said opinion, then apologies, but I ask that you just ignore it in that case). I just wanted to share this, so you don't have to read or reply as it's a rather long response.
You're not wrong about her being weak when it comes to Reyard and his constant cheating (even if it was because of the emperor), but she also was in love with him, though we didn't see it much. So I can imagine why she wouldn't divorce him. That plus the fact that before meeting Edward (ML) she didn't have a means to support herself since she gave up everything to sign that contract with Reyard. And yeah... I mean seriously, a gigolo? Of course, she didn't actually get with one, but she almost did, and having another lover (no matter how fake) is still cheating. And cheating is terrible. Cheaters are one of the worst types of people out there, and she essentially stooped down to the same level as Reyard.
Now when it comes to swordsmanship, I have to say that it wasn't exactly randomly added to boost the FL's specs. It'd actually be weirder for her to not be good with the sword considering how talented and strong her mother is with the sword. It just had a convenient place in the story to be mentioned, but ultimately was hinted at several times throughout the story.
And as for the ML. They did quite a nice job with his character as rather than being this perfect cold character who's an expert in everything and doesn't know how to be kind to anyone, he's this more emotional, meant-to-be-funny, and romantic kind of guy who's skilled in magic but not swordsmanship, so he's not perfect and can still learn and grow.
And I think due to the manhwa being a more easy-going and a less drama-filled story, things happen a lot easier so as to not make it so complicated. This makes sense when you think about how easily and quickly their misunderstandings/problems got resolved (literally in the span of a few chapters unlike other long, drawn-out stories).
Again on the FL. She is dense and stupid to an extent, but she doesn't really have plot armor as there's not much for her to be protected by unlike other FMCs. She also doesn't have to rely on the ML (she's trying not to as best she can as seen with the expedition and her not wanting to be protected or held back by anyone, even the ML).
Ultimately, the story may not improve much if at all, or it could improve massively– who knows? For me personally, this was a refreshing and pleasant story to read. It was pretty interesting despite only having 38 chapters so far. However, to each their own and while I find it unfortunate you thought of it as a waste of time, that is opinion and so there's not much to do regarding that.
Extra: If you read this far then congrats lmao and thanks. This turned out to be a literal 500 word essay, though that wasn't my intention... Either way, have a nice day and to whoever read up to this point, you don't gotta reply if you don't wanna. Hopefully mgg doesn't omit part of my reply like usual. That's all!!!
This is the dumb shit. FL is so freaking weak. If your husband cheats on you, why don't you fight for a divorce instead of clinging to him? Using a gigolo to make him jealous? You're stooping so low. Now, you're just at the same standard as your beloved cheating ass husband. And since the FL don't have anything worth to her, author randomly added swordsmanship talent to the story. How ridiculous. ML is as flat as the earth. Even if FL farts, he might suddenly find himself interested in her. pfft. I don't care whether the story improves later on. Stupid FL would just rely on plot armour and ML anyway. A waste of time.
