I think it’s gonna be ml falls in love and mc finally disappears into bubbles, then mc finds out he’s not dead and goes back to the future, where ml is still waiting for him. Not a spoiler just my prediction

Just like in the original little mermaid story where she became a sea foam/bubbles at the end of the story, here, Hae-il also turns into sea bubbles every time he gets heart broken. Feel like this would be a happy ending but a LOT of angst. (Btw, I counted the candies and it's 35, so there's 35 chances not unless he gets so heartbroken the candy won't be able to stop it)
