Lol nope — I’ve been reading this stuff for like a decade (and probably started way to young if I’m honest) and I can usually ignore some problematic things (especially if both in the relationship are equally toxic) its just the sexual stuff while one is drugged and or sleeping that really get to me (and honestly wouldn’t have been so bad had I had some warning that it was going to happen — none of the tags suggested dubcon and thats my largest gripe when I was hoping for a sweeter story)

I get it, but I think bad things like that happen alot in real life. Thats why it feels weird seeing it in comics, my best friend was drugged and sexually assaulted. Shes cut off contact with everyone, and I haven't even been able to reach her since !

Thats so scary— I hope they get better soon no one should have to go through something like that, situations like this are awful and the most you can do is make sure they know you’ll be there. I know far far to many people who have been hurt and abused in real life — I was lucky and had no real bad experiences but almost everyone around me has stories and its fucking heartbreaking. My town in particular has a really bad problem with people being drugged in bars, my cousin and best friend both had incidents where they were drugged (luckily we all have a policy of not leaving anyone unattended at the bar as my sister noticed something wrong immediately in the case if my cousin. And my best friend was a big guy and while traumatized by the drugging had nothing further happen to him. It should not happen at all but you really need to make sure you go with people you trust and keep a sharp eye out). And thats not even near the bad shit thats happened to people in my immediate family or my partners. And again I’m so sorry about your friend, I wish the world was a safer place for all of us.

Comics like this should at the very very least warm people if they are going to glorify this content and/or not pretend that it’s not assault. I wish more comics would be way more into showing absolute consent (consent is sexy!) instead of trying to be dark and edgy with the sex.
