uke didn’t tell them he was the one they we’re looking for bc he wants to escape from there. seme is looking for the dude with ultimate yang obstruction that he banged when he killed the beggars and if seme found out that uke was said dude he’d keep him there most likely forever (he needs the yang energy) and uke wants to get tf outta there. so in short, he’s keeping quiet bc he knows he’ll be kept there and he does NOT want that.
Not the family.
The problem is, that due to their problems (ultimate yin obstruction for ML, and ultimate yang obstruction for MC), their life is in danger, and getting rid of this problem is basically as good as getting a much better body. However, to treat their constitution, they need someone of opposite constitution, in other words, eachother. Which is all good, except that's not all:
Problem 1: they need to be cultivators to survive the ritual. MC is not a cultivator. ML has no reason to teach him, he can get rid of his own problem regardless of his partner's state. Reason number 1 why MC is likely to die.
Problem 2: they need cultivator experts to help them through the ritual to survive. It's hella expensive. ML has no reason to spend this money on MC, he can get rid of his constitution even if MC dies because of the ritual. Reason number 2 why MC is likely to die.
Problem 3: as far as ML is considered, MC is a nobody random person. No loyalty towards the demonic clan or ML, no skills, a reject from an orthodox clan, only temporarily usefull until ML gets rid of his ultimate yin obstruction. As soon as that's done, and MC, by some miracle, survives, there is no reason to keep MC alive, and all the reason to kill this random potential threat that at this point probably saw/heard too much to just kick him out. It's just easier to kill him off. Reason number 3 why MC is likely to die.
At this point of time, MC has absolutely no guarantees that he would survive, and all the reasons to believe that he will die.
Sorry I forgot and didn't really catch the story here (lol), I'm just confused why our uke didn't just tell the truth that he was the person they were looking for? I mean, doesn't the white-haired guy seem interested in him, so there's no way he would hurt him if he know the truth, right? it's quite the opposite. Or Is it because of the uke's family?
