Agreed on the risk part, but if ML was a legit dom, he would have abided by the basic rules of bdsm- one of it being the sub needs to know about engaging in bdsm (￣∇￣") the MC clearly had zero idea wtf is going on, thinking spanking is the ML letting out his hatred on the MC by hitting him, doesn’t see it as sexual play, rejecting ‘aftercare’ eventho he needed it because he didn’t know what it meant. The dom knows all of this, and yet plows straight ahead despite how clueless the sub is.
I heard the novel handles it a bit differently, so maybe we’re not getting the full picture here and the ML won’t seem such a rookie dom then, but for now that’s what I see, in my personal opinion.
Personally i don't even think he intends for bdsm sexual play as soon as he realizes Seodan has zero experience. That's why he mentioned that he never thought that Seodan think what they're doing is too much and hence where they started talking about safe words. It seems to me like he has a mean streak when it comes to it. I have read the novel and he still have his mean streaks in bed when they're doing it. Bdsm is like another layer of it. Way more extreme than what he's doing now.
