Actually I believe this arch is more about the "enemies" development. The woman that will turn out to be in love but was wronged and the idiot who will be saved after being obsessed the wrong way. So yes, I guess there is no development for the main characters
Am I the only one that’s getting bored? I know: do not read it then - but I seriously miss his friends and how Jiwoo could act like a kid with them. I do not feel any character development or even dare to say, story development ..
