I don't think Tsubaki died, I think he goes to the hospital and there he will find Kabuto in a coma because I don't think he really died, so much so that there is a chapter where he says that the flame of his life was rekindled / became stronger and he has interacted more with objects after meeting Tsubaki, he gained more will to live after meeting him
Hopefully this story goes to the coma troupe
