I almost dropped this during those chapters. I really really hate it! From what was implied, they really did it while everyone was waiting for them outside even his lover (which gave permission to him doing it to save the yin girl). For now, nothing else happened but if they somehow progressed that woman's relationship with MC, then i'm dropping it.
Don't worry about it I was the same until a novel reader clarified that he does not take her in as his second wife or mistress she just becomes a nobody he only stays with one women so after that the novel reader said she doesn't show up much any more she's just forgotten I finished the latest chapter and she really doesn't show up after that arc so your good the novel reader said that the Mc hates or loathe polygamy so your good it's just that one scene
