Lizard is at Killian's door to try and charm him In the novel, she tried to kiss him... But of course he only has eyes for Edith(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
During the war, Edith, Lizard and the duchess'll get kidnapped. Edith will be brought to a basement where she'll get tortured while the other 2 were upstairs. No one will tell Killian about this happening and Cliff'll come get them.
Of course, after finding his mother and Lizard he doesn't even look for Edith and declares her a traitor as well as send Rudwick knights after her. All this time she's still tied up in the freezing basement
Thanks to a mercenary she did some trading with, Edith manages to save herself and get out. She's helped by a couple and she waits for a travel (car? ) When sh'es about to get in, in the end she accept her fate and go to some Rudwick knights for them to take her.
There, still without Killian who was out of the mansion looking for her (of course no one told him about finding Edith), she's locked in the dungeons with people ignoring her obvious torture marks...
Her, and the rest of her family are brought to the execution site. They rush everything not wanting Killian to show up. He still ends up coming and stopping Edith from being killed... Right before that, she successfuly got rid of the 3rd task as she was completely willing to die there.
While Killian screams at his family, she's brought back to the dungeons. There, Lizard try to hurt herself and accuse Edith for it. Of course Cliff comes and start screaming at Edith but Killian put a stop to it immediately pointing that it is obvious Edith isn't to blame here. He's also furious to see her STILL in the dungeons and not with a doctor. He even says to Cliff that he'll kill him of he dared asking the doctor to treat Lizard first.
After recovering, Edith just wants to leave for their territory so they did. Cliff and Lizard do end up married and all.
After some years thought (Or maybe months I don't remember), Lize start flirting with the Emperor himself (that is actually the thing that got her arrested of the many others disgraces she brought to the dukedom) and she ends up locked up. Cliff get remarried, Killian and Edith have kids, the end (〜￣△￣)〜
