Honestly a r4pe victim is almost always being blamed, be it a boy/man or girl/woman.
For a boy? It's shameful to even feel harassed, you're supposed to suck it up. Feel guilty if it was a man who did this to you, supposed to take it as a compliment when a woman does it.
For a girl? "What was she wearing?", "How did she provoke the other person?", "Keep quiet or no one will date you afterwards".
It's sickening and the saddest part is that it's not just a fictional mother like here but real life parents do this to their kids!
For real! Parents be the one who supports and fight for their child but here they are blaming them instead,I just dont fucking understand what tf is going on with their head, some of them even find it embarrassing when their kid got rped they're making it feel as if the victims ruined their reputation and even some of parents always says they understand that their child got a trauma then after a few minutes they'll suddenly says something like 'he/she didn't even do that much to you,it's from the past just forget it' and the worst is when you told them you got harassed they'll pretend as if they didn't hear you, just wow#-.-)
Yes! It's so disgusting, that whole "hush-hush" mentality, don't speak, don't tell, like the victim did something wrong and needs to hide a shameful act.
Some of them even hide incidents within their own family and pretend that nothing happened. When the people that are supposed to love and protect you, abandon you after such a traumatic experience, I don't even want to imagine it...
Freaking hate his mother
