i’m dumb and thought there were more than 55 chapters posted so i just finished it on accident but im gonna drop for a while bc im annoyed w how long its taking and the plot isn’t consistent enough for me to keep reading regularly.
Fully agreed. I haven't read the novel but from the moment the Duke saw her at the ball and also when he revealed his wife's portrait it was so damn obvious. Right now the author is just stringing us along for cheap entertainment.
i’m on chapter 49 and i can sense that it’s hinting that the duke is her real father. does anyone know what chapter it is? i’m getting so annoyed with how long it’s taking and i just want to skip to there, but can’t find anything online when i google it. otherwise i’m dropping this.
