Touche. I think the whole thing with her mom is since childhood so a lot more damage there. Because you can feel/be equal to your partner, but Infront on your parents your subconscious is always just a defenseless child. So I think it's harder to forgive her mother's indifference and favoritism towards Ash.

Maybe because her mother has two remaining children while Winter only have her as his wife. What I mean is, to her mother she is one of the two options, Violet or her brother, while Winter only have one wife, Violet, he will be his one and only.
