Oh 100%, and it doesn’t really harm the descendants who aren’t necessarily to blame as well, since he’s not killing them.

Ahhhhh so that’s why he destroyed the necklace, he was so invested in his heritage that he did all that to get the mirror, my guess is he probably is set on writing some of the wrongs by getting rid of all of the objects made from the remains of the dragon.
