Wow wait that’s actually a really good parallel. I think deep down Ian wants the type of life Jo would give him, but he knows Jo will never fully understand those darkest parts of him the way TJ will. I also think Ian knows deep down he’ll never really be able to escape his past. I think his love and devotion for TJ is stronger but he might still chose Jo
