Nah, don't sell yourself short. It's not a delusion. We've seen our boy Ian think about the man so hard for the past few chapters. We've seen him decide not to leave just for TJ when it's what he was all about throughout season 1. TJ being endgame isn't a delusion. It's simply a possibility we get to hold on to.
