well, i think that it’s a bit realistic tho (づ￣ ³￣)づ she tried to escape using the sandstorm, an attempt was made but again he’s a living god. we dont know what kind of power he truly holds. and she did the right thing by trying to wear the earrings but sadly the earrings’ magic had run out.

she cares more about her family’s safety. if her identity is known, her family in cromwall would be in danger. it’ll make the king speculate that she IS truly a spy even if she’s actually not. it’s been pointed out before. that’s why, in an attempt to protect her family, it’s better to revert to the other look. and the king would’ve recognized her either way because he notices the smallest things such as a small change in her eye color ╮(￣▽￣)╭
i mean, the only difference is her eye and hair color right? unlike the other guy, he still doesn’t realize that it was her since he only met her for a brief moment. think about it lol. the ml is actually obseeeessed with her, whether he realized this or not (i think he admitted to it lol). he met her almost every day, watched her when she sleeps, and even knows that her earrings are magic items. he’s attention to details is magnificent..
