My opinion…

The consequences is only the first part -
I’m okay with fuku wanting to make her own decision but…as you can see her boyfriend’s mother against it, her family torn apart, school issues… and trust me there will be more..even though her mother and takara and her teacher support her. Its not enough why? Because this is the only beginning… not until her sickness become worst, her mental health, her body change…more? The uncertainty after the baby is born.. money and more. Life is not all rainbows and butterflies…What happened if takara lose his feelings? Her mother attitude change?… there is soo much possibilities. True. Some might able to pull is through. But its all uncertain. If you choose to not have the baby, you can decide more carefully your life, build your life….yeah if your life was not going well anyway..at least you baby wouldn’t have to suffer…please whoever are going through the same please think carefully…even if you have all the support it may be not enough for a teenager to have a baby

No, it's not being negative to carefully think about the future. In fact, it's a sensible approach to life. Being careful and thinking ahead doesn't necessarily stem from pessimism, but instead from a desire to prepare for different scenarios and make informed decisions. It's proactive, not paranoid, and demonstrates foresight and wisdom.

Being cautious isn't about expecting the worst; it's about being ready for whatever might come, and that's a healthy attitude. When you're being careful, you're not necessarily thinking the future is negative; you're just trying to plan for possibilities, good or bad.

I agree From my perspective I feel like sachis too optimistic and naive they decided to keep the fetus based on their curiosity of having a baby and the romanticisation of being parents to the said baby(which I got from their dialogues). They don’t know the adult world and haven’t thought ahead about the future, what about the costs takahara can’t keep working at the ramen shop forever? whos going to help raise the child along with
If one of the parents go to college? How will Takahara go to college take care of the baby, work and study??? They can’t place the burden on sachis mother alone (who’s the only adult /parent that’s supporting them).Theres so much more negatives than positives.

That’s what I think too, also it won’t be possible for her to hide the pregnancy at school, I wish they had explored abortion more and in detail tbh, it felt painted in a negative light a bit with the ‘the baby is alive’ schtick even tho scientifically it’s not
