Yes I agree on this lol ESPECIALLY in Asia. Most of the people who did get diagnosed are hella privileged too, usually, and well in these kinda story, it's really often that the author just portray stuff based on their own living experiences, it's not that hard to understand

Seriously man if I had a dollar for everytime one of these stoic, robot types get brought up in BL, I'd probably have enough money to get something at McDonald's by now. They're described in a way that's almost entirely autistic coded yet it's treated as a quirky archetype. They need to stop and give these characters proper diagnoses at some point to do it justice, especially when I get attached to every single one of them.
