That's true. I've read many and almost all of their plot won't truly work in real life, and that's why it's called a fiction. If rl is just this harmonious, then it would be likely possible.

What-the fuck-ever your opinion about Kitahara doesn't really like Kanata, or Kanata was the only one who delusional, doesn't changed the fact that the MANGAKA itself made this comic happy ending.
