That’s because this story is a spin off of the „yondaime“ series. There the blonde mob boss is the main character. The author has several stories that are all connected with one another. „jealousy“ is another of those spin-off stories where it‘s focused on a side character from the main series and his past infatuation with the father of the blonde mob boss son
If I'm being honest, I continued reading after the first chapter because I was interested in the young master guy and the doc thing that was going on, it would be cool to see them slowly develop feelings for each other or something like that, but the story it changed twice so I was a bit confused why the story even started there to begin with but it's okay.
