My theory atm is that he is reincarnated and is living his live again.
Idk how or why, but at the end he dies somehow, maybe alone and hurt and gets another chance to live a fullfilling life, saving the people he loved (his uncle specifically)
Thats how he knows what happens and how people are supposed to be (bad aunt, loveless uncle)
He probably used that wish of his to return to the past to save Ruediger or something lol

Or maybe his wish was to bring Ruediger back to live, but instead it brought him back in time. Yk how wishes often dont do exactly what you want, but do it a bit differently.
Pretty sure he used "the wish" to go back in time (regressed), to make things right (he did become a duke but at what cost...) so that he wouldn't have to kill unnecessarily, although I'm not sure if he actually wanted to save Ruediger as well because he was hurt by his indifferent attitude towards Luca. I feel like Luca just wanted another chance at happiness (which ultimately came in a surprising form of his Aunt's new and loving behavior that she previously didn't have)
he actually forgave his aunt before regressing. he discovered that she wasnt so bad and thought that between her who deep down loved him but was blinded by grief of being alone and rudy who was merely doing his responsibility hence his new attitude.
