The construction company is going to be handed over to JIN. JIN wants the company but he knows the risk that it will put his and Matthew live and he is hesitant about it cause he always wanted to be at the top.
Now Brandon (Bumyung) the creepy old guy he wants to fuck over Jin for personal reasons or he is just a psycho and cannot go past they fucked before. So he helps the directors from the SHINAI construction to get rid of him by attacking some people on inside I believe.
The way Jin could have reached to top was by selling those drugs and he is putting them away cause there is some plan and I think he wants to do it alone and submit to Brandon so nobody gets harmed. And now he is getting attacked by one of his own employees cause he is paid by the directors or Brandon.
