The empress is the vampire lord domis but doesnt want to admit it yet. Guesta is tricking thula into thinking he is the lord but thula has doubts. Im not sure why aini has memories of being domis but she is mistaking herself for domis because she has those memories and it is causing her to chase after carlein. Sounnaught and carlein are vampires. Empress latrisil presently has a blonde disguise she uses to go off on her own without guards which is confusing the vampires into thinking that disguise might be the adversary (the one destined to defeat the vampire lord) ranamun is being told he is the adversary. Aini's dad wants to pretend she is the adversary. Latrisil is coming to terms with the fact that sounaught didnt tell her he was a vampire. Klein is not an idiot but also is at the same time. Latrisil is trying to keep her growing strength a secret from the sage but technically her secret is out and he is turning a blind eye. The merchant guy sent latrisil a giant dick pic.
