I rate mine based on how likely I am to reread it! I do it via lists though, so I have several private lists, with my high tiered list being 4-5 stars and the ratings are in decimals (4.8 / 5, etc) I genuinely don't reread things because my mood and interests change often but there are some I will willingly forget and read over and over again because I love it. I also have a blacklist of those that I dropped and a list of those that I read, but would not reread

i used to rate everything 5 if it was good or whatever and 1 or no rating if i hated it. However for the past year and half i changed my ratings so 1/5 if they're okay/acceptable 2/5 nice read 3/5 i like it 4/5 into my favourites 5/5 phenomenal and if i hate it then i don't rate it and add a comment on my saved manga that it's terrible and never to read it again
I don’t think I necessarily rate too accurately unless I genuinely hate the storyline tbh, everyone gets a 5-star from me no matter how mind-numbingly mediocre they are. I’ve only ever rated the ones I genuinely could not stand low at all. I’m curious if this if just a me-thing or if anyone else does the same?
