I was afraid of reading this because it had zombies in the description and zombie + romance never seems to be a good mix but it's not your typical zombie story and while the first 20 chapters it was pretty much about surviving in a zombie apocalypse it develops into a political scheme mixed with office? Romance? I appreciated the little romance it had, it seemed fitting for the plot I also skipped right to the end of the sides first thing to check if his friend survived and almost didn't recognize him without the red hair before actually reading it because if he lost his best friend I wouldn't read this at all lol
