But I think it would've been more interesting if they had more chapters to play around with the idea. Like, beastmen face discrimination in most cases, so seeing Aleksei deal with that, along with the confusion/fear of turning into a human when he didn't even know he WAS a beastman, would've been a good way to add some angst. We also didn't get to see any battles with both leads after he turned human. I think seeing their chemistry on the battlefield after they became a couple would've been cool. It just felt too short and not fleshed out very well.
