Yeah... 1st thought when she asked how she looked was: like your dress needs some adjustments. The shoulder straps are too long, one jump and you're flashing. And also, it's impractical for a fighter.

Right, I'm a bit disappointed! She was this cool female knight character but now it seems like she's been demoted to fanservice. I mean, she was already great, so it seems unnecessary, and it also seems very unlikely that a knight would choose to wear something so unpractical :/

I mean it kinda makes sense for her to not be wearing armor right now. She's not even sure she wants to stay with snowman, why would she want to wear armor if she doesn't plan on fighting. I also don't like the choice of clothing either though.

I mean... I do get it. But even if she wanted to wear something pretty and feminine or anything of the sort... that dress just isn't it... most woman feel uncomfortable showing that much cleavage without a good support and assurance she won't flash others... and even if she doesn't stay and fight for him the least she can do is help him whole her brother is unable.

Sorry if my response to you caused you confusion. Your response had me quite confused as well. I thought you'd might have missed my last sentence in my reply. It happens all the time on this sight where people don't fully read what they are replying to and misunderstand what the person had said.

You made it seem like I was all for the clothing she was wearing by restating your previous point. Like I didn't already understand what you said in your previous reply. Even the structure of your comment is written as a disagreement after the first sentence, and even that first sentence can be read with slight disagreement if you really wanted to. I didn’t though. Then giving the extra detail about woman's prefrences can be seen as you further defending your point of view with the things that came before it. If you wanted to express agreement it would have been good to structure your sentences differently as that is almost akin to body language in text conversations. Usually starting the frase that follows an agreeing statement with 'but' is meant to show that they don't actually agree or that they only agree partially. Because you brought up your views on the clothing after that 'but' it looks what you disagreed with would be my views on the clothing.

This is the curse of a college english class I took for some else that I can never escape. At the very least I can choose not to use all the funky punctuation.

Ah, I just remembered the name for what you wrote. It's called a counter argument.

Yeah that happens when you agree with part of what someone said and not everything they said. I agree the dress was a poor choice. I disagree that not wanting to stay with him and not being ready to fight are good enough reasons to be dressed like that. Hence the use of a counter argument to explain why it's such a bad choice besides just don't liking the dress.

Ah, so you still don't understand what I said or tried to explain. I guess it's a matter of reading compression instead. No point trying any more than this.
