What kind of is drugs is Sohan on to think his father has changed (for the better) even a tiny bit?!
The excuses and rationalizations he's making for him remind me more of an abusive partner relationship than an abusive parent -child relationship.
I would think that after going through everything he did to pay back his father's debts the rose colored glasses would be off. And I say this as someone with similar family experience as well as watching others go through it.
This is frustrating and triggering me to no end. I really can't stand to see kids of any age be used, abused and trampled on by their parents.
