there are so many other stories or even the questions/topics place were you could have made this post, so the fact that you chose here means you wanted to use the criticism in the comments (there was a lot of it pouring in at the time- the story was trending) as a "propeller" for your general post about obsessive bl fas.
THE ISSUE is, that the criticism in this comment section doesnt actually fit your narrative because the criticism of this story cant be chalked up to "ah, obsessive bl fans and their double standards attacking a random straight smut to say bl is better" when there is legitimate reason this particular story got swarmed by all types of readers.

if you seriously think all the statements you made were as direct as "i like cheese" then you ether dont understand the nuances of the english language or you failed to grasp the implications your statements made that i pointed out and explained in my 2nd comment to you. In addition, the setting of in which a statement is made can imply intention even if the statement itself is completely direct.

bl in its essence and history is not about the obsession with gay sex, but some bl readers are obsessed with gay sex and those readers are the ones that actually NEED good art more than anyone els because for them its ALL about the "sexy visuals".
so really, there is no reason why terrible bl art would be hyped up by them when the visuals are the whole point for these people.
