It was mainly the pacing that was off imo
As of now, chapter 66, the art and pacing gets better.
The next arc will be fire, don't give up.
This is still one of my favorite works, it's unfortunate what happened at the start of season 2 but I see improvement.
I saw the other comments and skipped everythg about the romance up to ch 63. I agree about the pacing! The plot is there but the “reveal” about his true power to the gov and the part where he lost his mind was so flat. Hope they can fix this because he seemed more powerful during the fight in the bank
Yeah the first 10 chapters are very rough and hard to sit through but the end of the current arc and new arc will most likely be better now.
They left bits out and the built up was better in the novel, otherwise they did follow the plot.
I really liked how he went feral on that lion lol and the whole fight in general with the bones, such a cool concept! But I agree that his reveal felt sudden and kinda flat. I get it's for plot progression but I wish it was done differently.
And yeah the author and team behind season 1 did such a wonderful job on the bank arc! I loved that fight and bickering between the enemy and Mc + the reveal to the others.
Let's hope for the best tho!
Ok.. Im just gonna stop at chapter 52. People are saying the plot is going downhill. I can pardon ugly arts but THE PLOT nooooo. I’ll just wait for the next arc. And here I thought THIS was a hidden gem
