Well he only stayed as a kid for few months so that makes it better for me. I mean i can accept it since its said that demons have different growth then humans in the story. I thought she would raise him and that bothered me but few months is to little to call it raising so its not that icky. In my humble opininon.
Different growth reminds me of Re:Monster, where he in barely a day became a full grown Goblin & next day an adult. And in 106 days he already have kids of his own LOL.
So I'm glad the ML grew up in his adult form before everything. I would feel awkward otherwise
Agreed i hate those. Especially with most mangas they really love to put morally questionable age gaps when they can easily do it in a more acceptable way with the same or similar concepts

Yeah, in canon, demons lifespans are long and ml is wayyyy older, so it’s not a matter of mc grooming an underdeveloped child’s mind or something. It’s also not like a scenario where mc raised him for a long time since it was like only a half a year :/ it’s honestly not bad compared to a lot of other stories
a yes, icky age gaps that get totally ignored, like tf you mean you got engaged to the prince when HE was 13yo, 5 years ago and you are now 27 yo, he was a whole ass child, 10 years younger than you
