Personally I think he js likes the dude I wouldn’t label him as gay maybe like pan or smth but I feel like he doesn’t rlly care that much and the way he talks is normal like i literally call everyone (including the loml “bro”)
i feel like the author is trying to keep this realistic cause not all homosexual bottom guys are submissive to sex.. at the end of the day, their sexuality doesn't define how they act
from my experience and perspective reading this, he definitely was "tricked" into the relationship. He didn't want to lose his childhood best friend and basically felt pressured to accept whatever the other dude wanted them to be/become. At no point in the story did I see an indication that he had romantic feelings for the seme.. he came off as pretty straight the whole time, until the seme gave him an ultimatum. That's my thoughts

I haven't read this story. I just randomly read the lastest chapter lmao and it felt like the bottom isn't even gay. He doesn’t even seem to enjoy it (not like in a tsundere sense, the way he talks feels like he is actually straight and was kinda tricked into this situation. The dynamic feels off- clearly not comfortable enough to go down on each other while they're asleep). I'm probably wrong af Let me know if I guessed it right tho
