But.... can you blame them?
It reached a point where they couldn't tell truth from lie
Yuichi's been betraying and tricking people from left to right
The three were stuck in an unfavorable environment, hungry, cold, scared, filled with survival adrenaline as people (apparently) kept dying and they're not sure who's the *true* culprit -> aka a situation where only geniuses typically retain a normal and rational state of mind (and those three are no geniuses, as we all know)
Tenji and Kei (and us by extension) had the observer's benefit as they (and we) are not as emotionally affected (as we ain't there, experiencing the shit) and can see things more objectively
Heck, I'll probs not believe him too if I were there (assuming I survive at all)
*** sry pls, don't take this personally. I'm in a mood and my usual outlet ain't available due to an injury (craft hobby in need of a working wrist)
i mean the game had everyone, not just him, in a morally grey area as they're technically forced to be there. my memory of the earlier chaps are fading away, but as far as i remember, he never showed the intention to harm any of his friends, like it was always other people, unless he saw through their plans to get him first.
the main idea is that they've been through so much shit together, morals should be low, but all his friends are portrayed as judgy hypocrites and idiots who couldn't piece the puzzle together when even outsiders caught on
They all don’t deserve to be his friends if the MC dies like that. Only Tenji and Kei tried to save him. The rest were a waste of time. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
If I could, I would have punch all these motherfuckers so hard.
