Can someone pls explain me all the drama with duke Mireille’s death during the last chap...

That psycho princess wanted Ariadne hurt or dead, like an idiot she signed an order for the duke merriel ( he is a duke from her country sent with her as an ambassador so the marriage can happen and the political stuff happen) so he can perform the act but he would use it later as a blackmail material against her father who is a duke , the duke mirrail idiot decided to rape and hurt Ariadne himself instead of sending his men, he gets killed so now it’s a political disaster and if they find that letter even though it would help Alphonso’s innocence and declare that it was the duke fault, the society thinks otherwise since they value virginity so much so even when the rape didn’t happen, they would say Ariadne was raped and lost her virginity/honour/ purity and she would either have to commit suicide or become a nun to save face. Alphonso begs his mom for help, the king is notified that a blond man killed the duke, he rushes in the queen palace because he is notified the prince is there, he beats the queen for hiding her son, what a jerk. Alphonso decides to take the blame for everything, Ari wants to protect him instead and wants to take the blame but the queen decides to protect Ari instead. Ari makes a suggestion that one of Alphonso s men take the blame ( the knight who accepted that because he thought he should repent for loving his master’s woman). I felt sad for him he was tortured and sent to that duke’s kingdom to take his punishment ( he will be tortured until he dies probably). After that Ari and the queen spread the rumours that since the duke died this kingdom will have the upper hand in the political affairs and that’s why the king is pushing for the wedding fast and also a letter was sent to that psycho princess telling him about the letter and her implication in every thing so he was threatened and blackmailed into asking his own king in retracting the marriage proposal, that s why they took back their psycho princess bish
