I get that he's scared of the ending but why is he so stubborn? Like, no they're not gonna end up liking you just because it says so in the book, it's already been proven by both the book (it changes depending on his actions) and the fortune teller telling him that the future will depend on what he does.

I love Jerry, but I love Ilya more - I hope he actually starts living in the present.
