it's a self destructive coping mechanism
often seen in people with unresolved trauma, they chose a substance or activity to help them cope or dissasociate from their reality
for sowon it's obviously sex addiction but it also seems to be physical pain to a certain degree if not that atleast really rough sex
and funny enough (because it vericon) what he did just now was ground sowon and snap him out of that moment
though he obviously did it unconsciously
