Honesty....I like when Harada stories get happy endings....but too many people that crossed lines that should not have been crossed and did such....such messed up things, actual..torture, keep having things work out/get to be happy and....THEY NEED TO SUFFER MORE

I don't know...I'm feeling conflicted. I'll accept the story for what it is but these people severely abused a child and still have abuser tendencies so...it just doesn't feel right at all.

    100% Agree.
I might be petty but, before forgiveness should come repentance, RIGHT?

Right!! You can't be forgiven after the most "repentance" you've had is feeling a little guilty. And I don't know if they even felt that! Idc if its petty. I think Momo could still be perfectly happy telling them both to go fuck themselves and then never contacting them again. I'm so over this mentality of forgiving people so YOU can feel settled in move on. People act like if you don't do that you won't know peace and be able to move on, but thats really not true. If somebody crosses the line you don't have to plot revenge or anything crazy to make them suffer too, but telling them you don't and can't ever forgive them for what they've done and then that you don't want them in your life isn't a bad thing. Some people should not be forgiven and should be completely cut off. You can still be happy that way. You don't have to forgive people who hurt you, you just have to move on from them. I really hope Momo's mom doesn't get that ring. She doesn't deserve to be able to use it to give her peace of mind.

I highly doubt she even feels that bad. Maybe a little guilty now and again but she has her life together currently and is happy in all other aspects of her life now. You don't get to abuse and abandon your child until you get your shit together and then ask them to forgive you so you can continue to do nothing for them, bury your mistakes, and move on. She even admitted she didn't go there to apologize...she just wants peace of mind without actually doing anything to deserve it. I forgive no abusers in this story!

I get what you're saying as far as the horrible characters not getting their comeuppance and I wish they would too but you could argue that it's more realistic this way. Unfortunately far more abusers get away with their abuse or at least go YEARS before they receive any type of punishment. But yes I REALLY want his mom to suffer for what she did to him, THERE IS NO EXCUSE for her behavior.

No, I know. This is how the world usually works. Both sides have to move on for their own good and justice is rare. That's what I was thinking about as I wrote my original post...but dammit, this is fiction! STRING EM UP

All jokes aside though, I do value realism in stories and understand why it is going to be the way it is, but still at the very least would love to see them get told off. I'm not holding out for that to happen....but it would be a plus.

Add Suda-san to the list! Too many people here adore him, never mind the fact that he also pimped Momo (who was underage at the time)

Yeah...some of these people are crazy...I don't understand why people are like this in the bl fandom. Like, all they care about is sex and appearances and tropes, not the actual narrative or any form of story telling. It gets really annoying. A lot of these girls fetishize gay relationships instead of seeing them as actual characters. Like...how can you be into a guy that abused, raped, dominated, and controlled a child...I guess you can say you think he is attractive appearance wise...but I can't see a child abuser that way. Idk if he now is happy with his wife and child and wants the best for his kid. He's still a child abuser, he shouldn't be able to raise that kid other than handing over child support.

    Agreed!

Well, I agree with you about wanting to seeing the mom show actual regret and attempts to make amends (rather than just make herself feel better). I don't think will get that, but I would like to see it, even if it only happens in fiction. But I would be surprised if Harada is the one who gives us that kind of story.

Still, at least Momo is happy now.

Okay, I have to re-read but are you sure that Suda pimped Momo out? I thought Suda just took teen (though underage) homeless Momo in as a pet. I thought the mom pimped Momo out from a much younger age. That doesn't make Suda a good guy or anything, but he wasn't the one who started pimping out Momo.

I agree with you that that there are to many crossed lines. That kid looks like Momo. The mother reminds me of Momo's mother and Sudo ? well the mother asked Yata if he(yata) was his new toy?. I don't know abt. happy? may be Momo is right Sudo just did not want to be alone? I don't know.

The story is still on going,Sudo did say to Yata in around abt, way it's a good thing you are in Momo's life. So maybe the lines will be less crossed in the coming chapters.I find it interesting Momo did not retrieve the ring himself, Yata had to do it.Maybe those lines will be snapped(just hoping).
