So due to the original demon king died outside the supposed to happen scenario, someone has to take over the title by taking the demon king's power and fight until someone defeated them.

YJH was thinking to do that but KDJ didn't let him because if he does that, who knows what will happen with the current world they are living.

So KDJ decided to take over the demon king role and fight YJH and the others. The ending is sadly, YJH stabbed KDJ right on his chest, and KDJ disappeared (died for real as human). Only then the scenario finally moved to the next one.

You better prepare tissues because it's really heartbreaking.

Is it a bad time to bring up that ''he's gonna killed by the person he loves the most'' thing?

It exactly this part. He killed by 'everyone (the novel characters esp YJH) that he loves the most (since they are the reason why KDJ could survive)'

And I should add that all members didn't want to fight Demon King! Dokja. They cried but KDJ forced them to do it, since it's the only way to move to the scenario.

When KDJ died, many constellations said they didn't wish KDJ's death (SP included). The saddest one, until KDJ's disappeared, Uriel was the only one who 'screamed' she didn't wish KDJ's death and KDJ thank her for that.
