I dropped this the second the emperor turned. It came from left field and it seemed stupid frankly. When authors do stuff like this I fear they are just adding plot for drama and it’s going to get annoying fast. I was checking comments to see if I was wrong.

I don’t understand this MC Why didn’t she tell Ian she was leaving?? You really trust and love him?! Tell him what you are plotting!! Also why the fuccck does she constantly react to her ex husband?
