I’m curious as to whether the father ever comes to regret treating Dorothy the way he does/did? Will they become a ‘family’ or get along a bit more in the future?

He is an imbecile. He regreted when she was 9 and confronted him, but instead of deciding to fix things like his aide suggested, he decided to do what he did... I'm sure he still regrets it, and might even regret further now that he thinks she has powers. But I think her supposed powers shouldn't be a reason. How dare him place more importance to "the downfall of the family" than her wellbeing?! Let's be honest here, her true father is the knight. He is the one who raised her, gave her attention, care, advice and dried her tears. The king is simply a bio dad

100% agree. If he comes to actually regret even more and ‘fix’ things now, it’ll all be because she now has powers. In all honesty, I don’t even care if she ends up reconciling with her father because I won’t be able to forgive him. It’s just so disgusting that the only thing he desires is ‘power’ and sees his own children as a tool. I LOVE THE KNIGHT THOUGH OMGG!! I’m so happy she had someone to at least act like a father-figure in her life.
