They didn’t make it up, this manga already has an anime adaptation. They were just describing what cakeverse was and everyone assumed it was their idea.
Dude I remember some mangagoer making up cakeverse a couple months ago and there’s no way it’s actually implemented in a real manga now?! das crazy
