I'm not sure. I don't specifically find them erotic or funny actually. It's just so fascinating, their expressions are enthralling to me and capture me completely. They seem so passionate, and it's just a drawing but it's so lively. I love it. You could say that maybe it's comically exaggerated and that's why it's funny but I just find it so engaging.
I really love watching sports anime and there are so many intense moments where you just hold your breath and don't even blink. Similarly, in this work I think the artist is trying to express the crazy, intensely psychotic emotions of the characters. I think I'm having fun cuz they're having so much fun.
