I think it was included bc she looked A LOT like Theo so it probably was to show how much he was obsessed with him in the same way his dad was obsessed, especially at the end of his life
Yeah and I think to also hint that Theo liked Cedric back but he didn't realize yet, hence why Theo was uneasy when he saw the fiancee
What was the point of Cedric having fiancee? And what happened to her? Why would the author include her if they are not going to explain anything about her?
