Exactly... I could understand delaying if someone was doing exams or something but always choose the soonest time. I had mine on Valentines. Was told straight up "You aren't the one" after four years. Hurts but eh... life.
I understand there is no correct time to break up with someone however, there is no reason to do it on holidays it seems so cruel. I’m sure he could have waited a day after. Makes no sense as to give her a “goodbye” gift either lol.
I feel like it seems again rather cruel to breakup with someone on holidays. I am sorry you had to experience that. Just seems crazy a person would choose a day meant for love to finally say that.

I've heard of many break ups that have happened right after a holiday or some big occasion and people saying they wish they were told before hand instead of spending their time with someone whose been thinking of breaking up with them the entire time
I am so happy with the character development but I think we can all agree breaking up with someone on Christmas Day is fucking wrong… like beyond wrong.. . I can understand as to why he wants to break up because why would you want to date someone who is not even sure if they like you lol.
