I think omegaverse is not only in Japanese yaoi, authors from other country can tell their stories about it too (I've read some Chinese novel about omegaverse). "Ten Count", "Saezuru", "View Finder"... are still hot but they're old yaoi not some new yaoi :( And I think Japanese author haven't make new kind of plot for boy's love comic like Korean ones, "Killing Stalking", "A Guy like you", and "An Uncomfortable Truth" got a amazing, breaking out plot - what we rarely see on a boy's love stories. Their drawing are beautiful too with full colour. I cant wait to see what happens next in "Killing Stalking", "A Guy like you"... but it's been a while since an Japanese yaoi made me like that.
Yuri on ice is my favorite but it's anime not comic.
I've read some Chinese comic and they're good too. I always respect Japan, but now Korea, China make me tottally surprised by their talents in comic field (Korean expensive online comics are killing me now).
Webtoons are updated more frequently and full color but I find a lot of them lacking in plot, character development, and art quality. There's a couple of nice ones but if manga were updated more frequently, I'd prefer to read it over webtoons. I like reading webtoons while waiting on my favorite manga to update.
My thoughts exactly.
I agreed with you about some webtoons are still lacking. But do you think new boy's love manga lacking in creation? Maybe it's because I've read alot of yaoi and webtoon is new thing to me but I think Korea made boy's love comics in a new way, more originative, abundant in plot. (Some new yaoi is now full of sex scenes but the plot's quite boring :()
Korean webtoons have basically the same plot as Japanese mangas just with frequent updates and colored pages. Maybe YOU see them as "more originative, abundant in plot" but the others enjoy Japanese mangas that have original and interesting plot in their opinion. It's a matter of preference (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
I've enjoyed only two of the popular webtoons. Blood Bank and 19 Days. The rest are so-so. But yeah, to each their own.
I've only read a few but so far they seem more original. The Yuri (girl/girl) as well. I just hope Killing Stalking doesn't get a cutesy ending. Would really kill it for me if that happens. A Devils Rejects ending would be really nice.
I'll check it out. Ty. :3 The art looks pretty nice.

OMG. Why so many comics on Lezhin are so good? Like Killing Stalking, H&H Romance Company, A Guy Like You, Hate Mate and their new comic call "Uncomfortable Truth" (check it out).... they're really goooood!!! They're too expensive and it's hard to pay because I dont have a MasterCard/Paypal : (
Korea webtoon're taking the lead, I thought Japanese yaoi're going to lose this stage if there's only a few good new yaoi like thesedays, many new yaoi published but they'e quite disappointing me : (
