Haha same actually. I'm one of those who feel ick when a character ends up with their killer (Doctor Elise anyone?). I do like how MCs relationship with him shows that despite their 'closeness' I somehow can see she still feels a wee bit anxious around him. She wants what's best for him but I don't think the trauma has completely left her.

I've seen people being upset that Yayul will not be the ML though I quite the opposite. I mean I know that he had changed however I don't want her to end up with someone that killed her in her previous life. It will be like "The abandoned empress" or any type of "The Female Lead was killed by Male Lead in the First Timeline yet she still forgives and falls in love with him = Romantic Trauma Trope." It's just not my tea though if you enjoy these type of plot, you do you, I won't judge. We have our own preferences ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
