I felt that too. I cannot put my finger where but it felt like it was there but it wasn’t there at the same. Maybe because i already read the novel but the feeling wasn’t really there
Yess that’s how I felt too, like you can see what emotion they’re supposed to be feeling, but it just seems so minimal if that makes sense
Completely agree, its like one moment they are sad, the next they are fine, the expressions aren't deep enough and transitions between emotions is weird...
I’m kinda having a hard time adjusting to the new art, it’s not that the artist isn’t talented, but the facial expressions feel empty. Like there’s not enough depth or emotion to them. I hope he improves that because I do like the art style aside from that
