The author has been dealing with health issues for a while - I'm just glad she has continued. I buy the books and they're better so I'm guessing these scans are from a monthly thing where there isn't always as much detail... about the story arcs - the whole story is about Kyoko growing as a person, falling in love is actually secondary.
Ikr. I am more interested and invested in kyokos career development specially her character plays, then their turtle pace love story with ren. Its just a bonus. At this point I am thankful that the author is still alive and continuing this manga.
Skip beat and one piece are why worry manga, wondering if who, the story or the author, will end first
People don’t appreciate an actual good slowburn romance as well as a great story that has that (slowburn romance) and that is first and foremost character-driven and it shows. I’d read a thousand more chapters of this as long as the writing is as great as it is. I want to see things develop naturally! I want to see Kyoko’s journey to the path she wants to go slowly but surely! There are still so much to unravel and connect, character developments and experiences and encounters to live through and their pain and growth and love to struggle and reconcile with, to face and accept and give. I also want to be able to see how this story ends one day, I hope we will. But a lot of people are so spoiled especially in these times where you have quick access to things, they barely care about the weight of what they’re reading, they want everything given to them at hurried speed, not only fastburn romance and fastpaced developments in stories, but also fastpaced updates! without even once also giving a thought about and grace towards the creators. Of course I also would love to read more chapters a year but the mangaka has grown older too, on top of their existing health issues. I just wish people would stop taking things for granted too. And If people truly can’t wait, I’m sure they can find something else to read among a whole sea of manga everywhere instead of inconsiderately complaining or badmouthing this series which it really doesn’t deserve to get.
I managed to find it and now my local bookstore is able to order them in. I have almost all of the books now (I get 3 in 1 books and they're a little behind, but I have 15 books [volumes 1-45] and am just waiting for the next one to come in). The translation is slightly different but almost the same as the scanlations.
It's incredible it's till going but at the same the Quality never got better. In fact it got worse over the years.
The backgrounds are empty, they are Talkin in white voids, everyone is looking the same, it has to many characters, the main story is not going anywhere and it's dragging from Movie arc to movie arc.
Do her Editors never say anything?
