He should learn to explain his life decisions with whom he shares his life with… I feel like he just goes with the flow. He needs to speak up and own his decision. For example that baby, I don’t think even the helper knows how he got it ( he probably doesn’t owe her an explanation but that’s just me) plus he didn’t even explain the whole moving. He just assumes stuff.
