Some of these comments on here just piss me TF OFF!!! Is he a victim? Yes. Is she?? Also yes. Does it excuse all his emotional and manipulative control over her?? NO ABSOLUTELY NOT. Does it excuse that she should have taken off with the only other adoring male character in her life instead of dealing with her husbands horse shit?? NO AS WELL!! BUT they are both traumatized individuals who are literally too toxic for a marriage environment now. Her killing herself was honestly in character sadly, him suddenly regretting now is too because he is legit dealing with imposter syndrome. He probably loved her at one point but it is NO excuse what he does to her now after said revolution. He wants revenge in every way possible and honestly he can go screw himself for that. She is definitely lacking too but again sadly for many reasons that is entirely reasonable then anything her stupid af husband is doing. I would have killed myself in that situation too personally, hoped the bullet would kill me and my unborn child instead LIKE REALLY TRULY. I hate how meek she is but I completely understand WHY. Again same with the ML, he had to deal with how the world truly works in the end with no perfect comfort in his life and weather he regrets it or not in the end, he could at least respect one wish and let her go. Not obsess over this stupid mentally draining revenge and honestly free himself over his imposter syndrome. This story seems very complex but I wont be rooting for the ML at ALL if ANYTHING I hope the FL runs away and never looks back. This man doesn't really deserve a "chance" if he's going to just shit on it whenever it's given to him even a little. Seriously hate these kinds of story's like this, ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS A ML OR A FL WHO ARE LIKE THIS. Real situation like sure but man this is not what I want to read about when getting AWAY from irl situations especially for women.
